Company Overview – Lar Plásticos is a fully verticalized recycled plastics platform. The Company is involved in every aspect of the process, from sourcing of post-use plastic to the sale of finished recycled products. It offers four main product categories: (1) injected, (2) rotomolded, (3) industrial solutions, and (4) PCR. All production is conducted domestically, with the majority of products being made from post-consumer and post-industry polypropylene (PP) and high-density polyethylene (HDPE).
Environmental Impact – Plastic recycling can alleviate the detrimental effects of plastic pollution on the environment and the economy. By reprocessing used plastic materials, we can reduce the volume of waste that enters our landfills, oceans, and ecosystems. This, in turn, diminishes the associated economic costs of managing and mitigating the damage caused by plastic pollution. The production of new plastic materials generates substantial greenhouse gas emissions, which contribute to global warming. By recycling plastics, we can lower the demand for virgin plastics and reduce the overall carbon footprint of the plastic manufacturing process.
