Environmental Impact – According to Centre for Climate and Energy Solutions, 15% of the total emission is contributed through transportation sector and Internal Combustion Engine (“ICE”) vehicle are the primary source for these emissions. Shifting to EVs will reduce Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions that gets emitted from running an ICE vehicle, thus contributing directly to India’s goal to pursue decarbonization and reduction in GHG emissions.
