Mayara Howle is a Corporate Accountant at GEF Capital Partners. As a Corporate Accountant, Mayara supports the firm’s management company accounting, financial reporting, accounts receivables and payables, reconciliations, and close processes. Mayara is based in Washington D.C. and joined the firm in 2024.
Prior to joining GEF Capital, Mayara worked at Deloitte as an Audit & Assurance Senior Assistant, primarily serving financial services clients, including SEC filers. At Deloitte, she performed financial statement audits, tested internal controls, and reviewed SEC filings while ensuring compliance with accounting standards and financial services industry regulations.
Previously, Mayara held finance and advisory roles with the New York Small Business Development Center, TexStone Ltda., and Whirlpool Corporation, where she developed financial models, performed cash flow analysis, prepared budgeting and performance reports, and created executive-level presentations.
Mayara is a CPA and holds an MS in Accountancy from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business, an MBA in Finance from Fundação Getulio Vargas, and a BS in Foreign Trade from Universidade da Região de Joinville.
