Norberto Ballesteros is an Associate at GEF Capital Partners. He is based in Washington D.C. and joined GEF Capital Partners in 2024. Mr. Ballesteros is responsible for sourcing and structuring investments in North America.
Prior to joining GEF Capital, Mr. Ballesteros was an investment banking analyst at Citigroup where he focused on advising clients across the energy sector on corporate M&A and capital raising activities. Prior to entering the private sector, Mr. Ballesteros was a Psychological Operations Specialist in the U.S. Army where he assisted U.S. and foreign governments, militaries, and interagency partners. After the military, Mr. Ballesteros worked in the Operations Group at LyondellBasell in roles of increasing responsibility, eventually leading capital expansion projects across North America.
Mr. Ballesteros received a B.B.A. in Finance, with high honors, from University of Houston.
