Shikhar Singhi is a Senior Associate at South Asia Advisors, a sub-advisor to GEF Capital Partners. Shikhar joined the firm in 2025 and is based in Mumbai, India. He focuses on mid-market growth opportunities in South Asia and is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and managing investments at the firm.
Prior to joining GEF Capital, Shikhar was part of the private equity team at ICICI Venture – one of the oldest Private Equity & Venture Capital investment houses in India. During his stint there, he evaluated investment opportunities across multiple sectors such as financial services, consumer brands, logistics, healthcare, manufacturing, etc. Previously, he was associated with the National Investment and Infrastructure Fund (NIIF), a sovereign anchored investment fund in India, and worked on the roads and highways strategy of its USD 2.3 bn infrastructure fund.
Shikhar is a Chartered Accountant and graduated with an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta.
